I know this post has been long in coming, but I still feel the need to delay the pictures for a few words. Maria and Drew. What would I like to say? So many things. I’d like to tell you all how much I am inspired by them. How much I respect their talent and business. How freakin’ NICE they are. How honest-to-goodness blessed I feel to know them. I want to tell you all these things.
The first time I saw their work, I thought to myself, These people will be famous. (I still think it’s true!) Their unique perspective, polished technical skills, post processing aptitude and all over goodness is just scratching the surface. Have you been to their blog? Have you seen what they can do? It’s pretty ridiculous.
Not only are Maria and Drew excellent behind the camera, they sure make for some good models!
We decided to swap shoots a while back; we all needed some new website/blog shots and hey – it’s fun! We met up in Georgetown and I thought it was hilarious what happens when 4 photographers get together. Delicious photography fun.
Okay, enough of the incessant rambling (though I could totally go on). See for yourselves.

We stayed in this alley for a good couple of hours. Totally worth it.

Renata ROCKED this shot:

I brought along my dad’s old film Canon as a sweet prop. I can’t decide which of these I like better (both taken by Renata)!

Maria, you are so gorgeous!

We finally moved from the alley, only to get distracted by this fabulous white wall. I love this.![]()

We found solace…and this ridiculous stairwell at Starbucks.

Okay, I was sooo tempted to slap a CK logo on this shot of Drew. Don’t hate me, Drew. You look good!

This location included a wall that smelled like pee. Which might be what we were talking about in the shot.![]()

This one might be my favorite. Fierce, guys. Fierce.

I love everything about this one…

Maria and Drew, you guys seriously are fantastic. I’d feel successful in photography if the only thing I gained was meeting you guys. Here’s to many more hours spent in random alleys!![]()
